TUTORING

Day Spa Academy is dedicated to the success of each student. Our instructors offer individual and group tutoring for students that are struggling academically at no extra cost. For those students that need additional help, professional tutoring is available upon request as well.

RESOURCE CENTER

Reference materials, professional trade journals, DVD and CD format are available to students.

JOB PLACEMENT

Day Spa Academy is heavily involved in community outreach. Local businesses, including clinics, spa’s, studio’s, exercise facilities and salons use our school as a resource when they are hiring for health and wellness positions. Day Spa Academy is in the process of putting together a formal job placement program as well.

HOUSING

Day Spa Academy can provide information about local housing options for those relocating from other areas. Day Spa Academy does not own or operate housing facilities. We work closely with our Yakima Valley Tourism organization utilizing their resources for our students when needed.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Day Spa Academy provides or sponsors advanced classes covering a broad range of modalities to support alumni in meeting their CEU requirements and further advancing their skills.

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

Day Spa Academy is a member of the Northwest Aestheticians’ Guild, the Associated Skin Care Professionals, the American Massage Therapy Association and the American Bodywork & Massage Professionals. The Academy encourages their students and alumni to become a member of a professional association of their choice. Attending State and National Conventions and Conferences are encouraged as well.
